Drain Lining
Drain lining, as the name suggests, involves lining the inside of a drain with a polymer lining which then bonds to the inside of the pipe. It has been likened to manually building an extra pipe within the existing drainpipe
If drainage pipework has been established as having structural damage, then relining the pipework is by far the most cost-effective method, enabling us to restore the structural stability of the pipework without the need to dig up the pipe itself.
A drain liner can vary in length and diameter to accommodate almost any pipework that is damaged, this can be used to seals displaced joints and fractures within the pipework that if left alone, could eventually lead to a complete collapse at which point there is no alternative but to excavate and replace the pipework.
For small isolated areas of damage, we can also install structural patches. The idea is the same as the drain liner, but on a smaller scale which again helps to reduce the cost and disruption to the client.
